Message from the Chair
Dear AWHONN Colleagues:

Hello and welcome to the New Hampshire Section of AWHONN and to this award- winning web page! This Section serves about 210 New Hampshire members, as well as many other nurses who work in the fields of women's health and perinatal nursing. Our professional relationships among members, non-members, and other professional organizations make us a vital contact for excellence in nursing care of women and newborns.

The Coordinating Team for the NH Section of AWHONN is comprised of staff nurses, managers and directors who meet every other month to plan educational programs for perinatal nurses throughout the region. These programs focus on areas of core competency for obstetrical nursing practice. Watch for updated information on our web page about upcoming Educational Programs planned for this year! If you have conference or topic ideas, please Contact Us!

If you are not a member of AWHONN, but would like more information about joining, please contact our Membership Coordinator, Koren Superchi, at Littleton Regional Hospital, Littleton, NH at 603-444-9268 or ksuperchi@littletonhospital.org. Being a Member of AWHONN is one of the best things you can do for your profession: you will receive publications and be current with the latest developments in women's health, obstetric and neonatal nursing.

On behalf of the NH Coordinating Team, I would like to thank you for your professionalism and dedication by providing nursing care to the women and children of New Hampshire. We hope to see you at our educational programs and have a chance to meet and talk with you. In the meantime, please Contact Us with any thoughts, ideas and suggestions about how we can continue to enhance your professional needs.

Sincerely, Sara Kellogg Meade, RN, MS
