National Association of Women Health Nurses is a nonprofit membership organization that promotes the health of women and newborns. Our mission is to improve the health of women and infants and to strengthen the nursing profession through a variety of education, research and other clinical and professional recourses which are beneficial to nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Our organization has a couple of goals; we aim to increase diversity in order to protect the population we serve. We want to broaden our influence within a healthcare system, academic organizations and media and consumers. One of the ongoing goals is to become one of the leading nursing organizations in women’s health, obstetric and neonatal nursing.
